Improve the Ambiance of Your Home with Aromatic Effusion Lamps

Have you ever wondered what effusion lamps are? Well, they look like decorative glass bottles, but they can do more than just improve the look of your home.

Although effusion fragrance lamps have beautiful designs and intricate top covers, they are designed to emit scented oil. My first effusion lamp was a black and silver speckled one, but I accidentally broke it since I didn't read the entire directions (so read the directions and don't let the flame continue to burn like I did). Now I have a red one with a wrought iron looking top. It looks great in my black square shelves hanging on my wall, so when it's not in use it serves a purpose too.

When you buy your effusion lamp, you need to also buy effusion lamp oil. This oil is flammable and specially designed for these lamps, because they have a wick that soaks up the oil. Unfortunately, you cannot use essential oils in these lamps. However, the proper lamp oil is concentrated and fills the room with whichever scent you chose. I have a fresh lavender linens lamp oil that is light and refreshing, and it's a quick fix for a home with pets when you're expecting last minute guests.
