In an effort to spur some creative ingenuity, the Green Tech Open is taking place and accepting clean technology ideas from small businesses. Maybe your innovative idea will be the next best thing! Early bird registration ends in two days so check out the competition rules and eligibility.

At Dorchester Park , the community garden is well on its way to doing some good for the area. The food harvested from this garden will be donated to a local soup kitchen and youth shelter. Volunteers heading this project can't wait to start digging in the soil and growing vegetables.
